The Clay Studio
The Creamery Arts Center is home to one of the best-equipped clay studios on the Western Slope—a vibrant, hands-on space where creativity and community come together through clay.
We offer ongoing pottery and clay sculpture classes, as well as open studio time for independent work. Whether you're new to clay or a seasoned ceramicist, you'll find the tools and support you need to create, explore, and grow.
The studio features:
- Multiple electric wheels
- A slab roller and clay extruder
- Fully stocked glaze space with unique glazes and slip options
- Multiple electric kilns and a Raku kiln for exploring diverse firing techniques
At the heart of it all is Clay Studio Master David Strong, who brings years of experience and a passion for community ceramics. Questions? Give us a call (970) 872-4848 or shoot us an email gallery@creameryartscenter.org.
