Upcoming Classes

Image Transfers With The Gel Plate
with Loretta Columbia
Sat, Sep 5 | 4pm-7pm
Cost: $55
Explore the creative possibilities of image transfer using a gel plate! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to transfer photographic images onto your gel prints and experiment with layering, texture, and color to create unique works of art.
We’ll also explore tape image transfers, a fun technique for creating transparent images that can be incorporated into collages, mixed-media artwork, and journals.
Please bring high-contrast black-and-white photocopies printed on a laser printer to experiment with. A selection of stock images will also be provided, so don’t worry if you don’t have your own.

Intro to Watercolor With Florals
with Melanie Hoshiko
Thu, Sep 24 | 4:30pm-8:30pm
Cost: $65
This class is back by popular demand.
Discover the beauty of watercolor in this beginner-friendly class designed for those new to the medium. Students will learn basic fundamental watercolor techniques. Through guided practice exercises, participants will build confidence and develop an understanding of how watercolor behaves on paper. Once the basic techniques have been explored, students will apply what they've learned by painting a floral image on pre-drawn watercolor paper.
This class focuses on learning essential skills rather than creating an original composition. The goal is to provide a foundation in watercolor techniques that students can continue to build on in future painting projects. No prior experience is necessary, and all skill levels are welcome.
All supplies are included. Students who already own watercolor paints and brushes are encouraged to bring them, as becoming familiar with your own materials can help support your continued watercolor practice at home.
Registration deadline: Tuesday July 14th
