Drong Immersion

with Drongman Doug Beall

Sun, Dec 14 | 1:30am-3am

Sun, Jan 11 | 1:30am-3am

Join us for our Saturday Drong Immersion Series, led by Doug Beall. Nov. 22nd, Dec. 13th, Jan. 10th @ 6:30pm.

Suggestion donation: $10-20 per session.

A Drong Immersion is a sacred sound experience that combines the rhythmic pulse of a drum with the sustained, resonant vibration of a gong. To derive the most potent effect, the process compels the absorbing involvement of those experiencing the phenomenon. The sympathetic energy of the experiencer influences both the frequency of the drum beat and the vibration of the gong. This synergetic immersion elicits profound effects with a number of benefits.

The goal of a Drong Immersion is to lower brain wave activity into the alpha and theta brain wave frequencies which align perfectly with the naturally occurring Schumann resonance frequencies. These are persistent, very low-frequency (VLF), standing electromagnetic waves which propagate in the Earth-ionosphere cavity. The alignment of human brain waves with these Schumann frequencies helps promote deep relaxation and stress reduction, similar to the effects of meditation and light sleep. This sympathetic resonance may also facilitate access to deeper layers of consciousness, potentially leading to unique insights and emotional healing.
