The Creamery Arts Center offers art classes for all ages and skill levels, creating opportunities for the community to learn, create, and connect through hands-on experiences. From painting and ceramics to fiber arts and mixed media, our classes are designed to spark creativity and build skills in a supportive environment.

Color Theory

Why does one painting command your attention while another fades away? Why do colors seem to change once they’re on the canvas?
In this engaging Color Theory class, you’ll explore how colors interact, create visual vibrations, and influence depth and perception. We’ll begin by experimenting with cut colored papers to see how hues shift and respond to one another, then move into paint—mixing and adjusting color to better understand value, mood, and spatial depth.
Sharpen your eye and transform the way you see and use color. Maximum class size 10, minimum 5.

Gel Plate Monoprints and Project Ideas

Let’s make some prints! Join Loretta Columbia for a hands-on class exploring the creative world of gel printing. You’ll learn how to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind gel prints and discover inspiring ways to turn them into finished works of art. From striking wall pieces to dimensional, sculptural creations, you’ll leave with both new skills and plenty of creative ideas. The possibilities are truly endless.
